Thank you for this super way of relaxing neck and back muscles in a way that is beautifully integrated! I broke my neck in a ski accident 5 years ago and find any isolated neck exercises difficult and ineffective. What you have here incorporates some ideas I was given by a Gary Kraftsow video on a therapy training course earlier this year. I haven’t tried it yet, but be assured, I will be trialling it after Christmas with my intermediate class in Leeds!

The articles and this video makes so much sense. Thank you so much for sharing this information and the sequences for the neck and shoulders. No longer will I teach static poses to reduce the tension in these areas.

Thanks a lot. Do you have a practice that is for someone with cervical disc issues? I have narrowing between the discs and constantly have sore neck and shoulders.
